Support
Selfeed is a daily photo diary. Almost everything you might need is done inside the app, and this page says where. The steps below are for the iPhone app; for anything else, write to us.
Write to us
Write to lapster.me@gmail.com. Say what you were doing and what happened, which iPhone you use, the version of Selfeed (Settings → Version) and how you sign in — Apple, Google or X. A screenshot helps.
Delete your account
Open Settings → Account → Delete account and type the word the app shows (DELETE, УДАЛИТЬ or HAPUS, depending on the app's language). Every photograph, album and follow is erased, on our servers and on the phone, and it cannot be undone. The privacy policy says what is kept afterwards.
Signed out? Sign in first: the account is deleted from inside it. If you never signed in, nothing of yours is on our servers, your diary is only on your phone, and Settings → Storage → Erase all data clears it. Anything already uploaded stays on our servers until the account is deleted.
Your subscription
Selfeed Pro is a subscription billed by Apple, so Apple handles changing and cancelling it.
- Restore it: on a new phone, open Settings → Plan → Restore purchase while signed in to the Apple Account that bought it.
- Change or cancel it: Settings → Plan → Manage subscription (it appears once your Apple Account has a subscription), or Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions on the iPhone, or Apple's subscriptions page. To stop the next renewal, cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends.
How renewal and free trials work is in the Terms of Service.
Report a photo or a reply, block a person
In your feed, press and hold a photo and choose “Report content”. On somebody's page, tap the three-dot menu in its corner and choose “Report…”. Either way, pick a reason and the report reaches us. The same menus have “Block”: the person can no longer follow you or see your photos, and you stop seeing theirs. You can undo it at any time in Settings → Blocked accounts.
To report a reply to one of your own photos, open that day, tap “Replies” under it to unfold them, then tap the three-dot button beside the reply and choose “Report reply”. Pick a reason and the report reaches us. The same menu has “Block” when the person who wrote the reply has a handle, and their replies leave your list at once; a reply from someone without a handle can be reported, but not blocked in the app. For anything else that worries you, such as a profile as such or a person you cannot reach that way, write to us and say who and what. How reports are handled is in the Terms of Service.
Reminders do not arrive
Reminders are sent from our servers, so they need three things: you are signed in; Selfeed is allowed to send notifications (iPhone Settings → Notifications → Selfeed); and the Reminders switch is on in Selfeed's Settings → Reminders, which also controls alerts about replies to your photos. Two other reasons a day can be quiet: you already took today's photo, which skips that day's reminder, and with Random time on, the reminder arrives at a different moment inside the window you set.
Your diary on a new phone
Your photographs live on your phone, so a new phone starts empty. Sign in with the same account and open Settings → Storage → Bring your diary back. A free account gets its days back as the square frames our servers keep; Selfeed Pro brings back the photographs themselves. Days already on the new phone are left alone. A long diary takes a few minutes and some data, so use Wi-Fi.
Make a film
Open the Share tab, which plays your diary as a short film, and tap “Make the video”; the button appears once your diary has a photo in it. Choose the days, the length and the shape, then tap “Make the video” again. The film is made on your phone, and the share sheet lets you save or send it. Films made on the free plan carry a Selfeed mark, and Selfeed Pro takes it off.
The small print
What we store, and who receives it, is in the privacy policy. The rules for using Selfeed, how reports are handled and how subscriptions renew are in the Terms of Service.
